You can't tell me that's not entertaining though. I thought it was funny when Bernie Kosar said, " i am a catholic, and i can tell you, south bend is the furthest thing from being catholic i have ever seen." I do remember sebastian getting thrown up against the fence for trying to put out the flaming spear, you cannot sit there and tell me that isn't awesome. Miami were the bad boys, and nobody likes the bad boys, but it's very entertaining.
I watched it last night. Kosar hasnt aged to well. Worth a watch, pretty much was a text book example of everything that is wrong with College Football. Its a study on what you want your program NOT to be. Got me thinking though, would LSU fans tolerate that? If they were winning 4 National Titles. I would like to think not, but curious.....
Some might, you might, I wouldn't. Hell, I was p*ssed at that @ssclown Perrilloux and his antics couldn't touch what those guys did AS A GROUP of thugs. I'm still very pleased we launched RP, even though it wasn't the greatest thing for our program with no experienced QB. It was the right thing to do.
Bull$hit!!!!! No way I would support a team that acted like thug U did in their hay day and I hope most LSU fans wouldn't.
its real easy to say you wouldn't when its not happening. Good thing we probably will never have to find out.
Completely disagree. Check my post above - it DID happen and we didn't like it. This board was almost unanimous when it came to launching RP, even though we all know that he helped us win the NC with his MVP performance in the SECCG, yet we didn't approve of his behavior. And what he did couldn't begin to touch what the U was doing EVEN ON THE FIELD back then as a gang'o'thugs. I don't think the fan base would tolerate it. I sure as hell wouldn't, and most LSU fans I know wouldn't either.
I am not following your logic. We were irate with ONE GUY who was a f#ck-up who happened to be our only experienced QB, and a good one at that. If we didn't put up with it with one guy, then why the hell would we put up with it with a whole team of 'em? It would never come to that point, at least not here.
i don't think it would either, i am just saying i wouldn't be surprised if the LSU faithful just went along with it if LSU was winning national championship after national championship.
