In her case it probably helped her recognition factor in the entertainment business. People who didn't follow sports and didn't know who she was know now. In that segment of the demographic she is famous for being famous. Sort of like the Kardashians and Paris Hilton who leaked sex tapes of themselves. Poor poor pitiful Erin. Meanwhile in India, a woman who was in an arrainged marriage let her husband and married another man. The left the village they lived in and stayed away for 8 years. Then they returned and were staying at new hubby's mother's house . A mob of about 30 people, led by her own brother and a cousin kicked in their door and severely beat the husband and his mom. Then they dragged the woman to the town square where there poured kerosene on her and burned her alive. Her offense: marrying a man from a lower caste than her family. That's actually one thing I did take from all this. Emotionally Erin is very weak. Paris and Kim are strong. I think you give way too much credit to the video. For instance, it has been on my desktop since about a week after it surfaced. Until this tread was started the last time I opened it was...about a week after it surfaced. I don't think anyone cares near as much as you think they do. They will now because of all the media hype and if anything it will piss more people off because she got 55mil for that sorry ass video. Give it time and if she keeps her yapper shut about it it will die. It is 100% a certainty that someone else will steal her spotlight before the month is over.
