And I absolutely couldn't believe that. How does that happen? He was such a force in college. Usually, those guys transfer really well to the next level.
The draft is very speculative. Taking a chance on powerhouse sec players is a lot less risky. Mingo will be our first player picked yet he's proven little to be drafted that high. His length and speed is all they care about. I like Sam better. Who knows, maybe both end up marginal players like tyson and Dorsey.
I knew him and his family pretty well through some family and friends. Really good people. I thought he would be all pro by this time. No clue how he's been ineffective. He had it all as far as I could tell. And he was never a lazy fuck like Jamarcus. Maybe the money changed that.
Doesn't KC play a 3-4. That isn't good for Dorsey. I would think he could be serviceable to a 4-3 team.
Yeah I think Gary Gibbs is their new dc who used to be with the saints. Pretty sure they still run a 3-4 which is not ideal for Dorsey and everyone but kc knew ths prior to the draft.
I wondered why they didn't go ahead and run a 4-3 if they had drafted Dorsey and Jackson. But the pros are not very innovative many times.
Somebody actually hired him after he single-handedly destroyed the Saints? Or was he the DC back in the Jason David days, before the scandals this year?
When dorsey was drafted, KC played a 4-3. After 1 season in the NFL, Herm Edwards was fired in KC, and they brought in Todd Haley and he put in a 3-4. KC drafted Jackson to play end in a 3-4. Both have been busts in KC. Both have been hurt a lot (Dorsey was placed on IR again last week) and when they are out, their backups are just as good (or bad, depending on how you look at it). Both could use a change of scenery, especially Dorsey, whose contract is done after this season.
