Nola.com tweeted about Reid saying the LSU defense needs a killer instinct. I'm glad their recognizing this, and hopefully come out fired up with a renewed spirit. Hoping we start seeing 60 full minutes of lights out punishing defense. This team could become completely unstoppable.

They've lost it a bit with the offense's coming out party. I guess the pressure is off a little bit. I wonder how much of that "have-to" mentality drove them to being as good as they were?

This has been my belief as to why it's almost impossible to have a great d with a great offense. It's a mindset. We finally got to take a breath on that side of the ball.

Reid needs another year but nfl drafts on potential and Reid is smart. He will impress and go mid 2nd if he goes. Or kc takes him first overall.

Is this a Tyson Jackson head-scratching reference?

Dorsey Jackson bowe. But Bowe turned out to be their best player. I think Harvey Williams as well. He was decent. His neck rivaled mertons.

They did take HW but I don't remember where and yes, dude looked like a giraffe.

I hope I'm right but I think we just might be surprised with who stays for another run

Our talent outside of the DTs won't likely be first rounders. Even they have dropped. Everyone should come back.

I am les miles and I approve this message.

Dorsey wasn't a head-scratcher as a first-rounder, though his production has certainly been subpar. I just couldn't believe they took Tyson Jackson in the first round; I felt his production @ LSU was sub-par.

Harvey did have a Merton Hanks neck, but Merton's neck doesn't look that giraffe-like when he's not wearing shoulder pads.

Point being, both are busts and Dorsey the bigger one.

I agree with you, but I don't think Jackson should ever have gone high enough to have been considered a bust.
