Lots of experience in the backfield. TM7, Claiborne, Taylor, Simon, and Bryant are all good to go. Loston is a question mark, as he did not make the trip. Reid is a question mark. I do not know how they could be shuffled though.
My concern here is Arkansas' propensity to throw the deep ball. Jarius Wright is averaging a whopping 16.4 yards per catch. Cobi Hamilton 15.2. We have left Claiborne out on an island vs the opponents' best receiver for much of the year, so maybe it won't be that big of a factor. Obviously all LSU fans would feel better with Reid back there.
Without PRESSURE your concerns may be realized. Somehow Chavis has got to keep TM7 and the LB's constantly in the QB's face. Otherwise this could be a loooooong night for the Tigers secondary.
I had a feeling this would happen. I trust him and I know he is connected. I was just fishing as to try and find out "how" connected.
How's this one if Reid and Loston cant got. Move TM7 back there and start Brooks or Simon w/ the other playing nickel. or you could move TM7 down for nickel and Bryant in.
I'm pretty sure Bryant would be starting. It's the absolute least disruption to our defensive backfield. I can't see TM7 anywhere but in the nickel. He is too valuable rushing off the edge (or feinting that he will rush).
Deke: Hey, Bobby, they say that Eric Reid has a pulled quad muscle. Bobby Hebert: Noooooooooooooooooooooooo, Deke, noooooooooooooooooooo, dat's not right. You noooooooooooooooo Les ain't gonna tell us what he's got. Noooooooooooooooooooooo.
