So, who ya got got in Wembly? I'm taking the G-Men.

More importantly, does the london stadium get barbed wire like the game in mexico a few years back? (You know how crazy those futbol hooligans can get)

i am furious... absolutely furious about all of this.

    f'in New York bias.

when Katrina happened, the NFC ran out to make sure the Saints went to NY to give the giants an advantage of an extra home game.

how do they top it this year?

giving the giants a road game in London. Yeah, they still do have to travel, but let's be real here. the crowd will be 80% Giants 20% fins.

so the Giants get another home game again.

This past May. The wife got a promotion/relocation late last year, and I stayed in Houston wrapping up work and law school.

first off i sure hope you just forgot the sarcasm tag.

If not, then what are you smoking? the game is at 2am local time. the only people in attendance will be drunks just off the pub who'll think they've stumbled into a weird Friendly match between france and italy.

Since Ted Ginn's family will be unable to make trip, Giants 45-0.

If they could make the trip, Giants 44-0.

even so, that's not the point.

don't get it twisted, the Giants would beat the Fins on the moon or anywhere for that matter, but the NFL made it a point to make sure the GIANTS of all teams only had to deal with 7 opposing crowds this year instead of 8, b/c New York success= money.

I think the pubs close at 11:00 pm, so this would require too much of a wait...unless something has changed over there. I know they were talking about extending their hours for a while. The Brits don't move so fast, so I'm assuming the law hasn't changed.

First a correction, the game will start at 5pm local time (noon eastern). I still expect the giant 90,000+ seat behemoth that is wembly stadium to be half empty.

I think the league can and is doing very well, with or without a successful NY franchise (if it were all about winning teams in big markets, LA would already have 2 teams of it's own by now; and no, the raiders, niners, and chargers do not count as LA teams).

And it doesn't seem that NY has that many rabbid football fans anyway, seeing as how those riots the NFL hoped would start when cablevision wouldn't carry NFLNet never happened (Speaking of which, I've read that the owners meeting this week is all about ending games on the network. Apparently it took them 2 years to figure out that thursday should be for college ball only)
