you know and that goes to show you what that star ranking is worth. Jai Eugene, 5 star, Sturdivant the linebacker for UNC 3 star.
thats funny, a friend of mine said he thinks all Miles does is look at rivals and decides who to recruit from the star ranking.
Great analysis, but people will still believe that the team we played was their "JV" team or that they were "DII caliber" (looking at you istsl, those were your words). Sturdivant and Carter are both first round prospects for the upcoming draft. Guess how many first rounders LSU had on defense for most of the second half? (i.e., when Peterson was barely out there.) That's right, zero. UNC was shorthanded, but depleted they were not.
I think the impact of the UNC D was those LB's. Ever heard of the term " DO WORK"? Well they did just that. Worked a number of players and plays lol.. Good bunch right there.
i said the same thing before the game was even played as i was looking at their backups. of course, i honestly did not believe that they would play as well as they did (UNC defense,) but really, it's time to move on. we play vandy tomorrow and after that, all of this UNC talk should be put to bed. no offense, i agree with everything you posted, but it's time to.... BRING ON VANDY!!!!!!!
This thread is missing the "realist" perspective that told us we played against UNC's scout team. I'm just shocked.
