What has Florida done? There is the dominating opening wins against Charleston Southern and Troy. Combined record: 4-5 and Charleston Southern lost 59-0 against South Florida. Lackluster win over Tennessee, a team that hasn't won a game against a BCS conference team yet this year. A good win over Kentucky. LSU will win this one.

I agree Florida hasnt looked stellar. But neither has your team. We both have talent and its whoever brings their A game will win. It's easy to say "My team will win" But this isnt LSU v Charleston either. I can say I think the Gators will win but it will not surprise me one bit if they dont. This is a tough one to call despite stats and lines. Good luck, and I mean it, though Im hopin for more on our side of the ball if ya know what I mean. But your club is classy and if we are gonna lose Id rather lose to your club than most others. Even though I hope that wont happen on Sat:)

Man, I wish this meant something. But we've played cupcakes, too, and we haven't looked dominating against any of them.

Gator. . .no worries, man. It happens.

I never said anything about LSU's well known troubles or woes. Those are pretty well documented and harped on. This season has been one big "flinch" for LSU.

But what we hear about UF is how they are such an awesome nearly flawless team. I am trying to point out that UF can be stung. I used the word "flinched" in my post, NOT "shutdown" as you put it in your post (and put in quotes to make it look like I had said that). Don't put words in my mouth. I am fully aware that TN did not shutdown UF. You should also read the rest of my post that points out my opinion that LSU is a much better team than TN.

Oh, and I don't think that UF will be punting too much since most of the time they will give us pick 6's when we throw the house at Brantley... ;)

If the pass does get shut down due to your dline and brantley's redshirt. They should change the whole redshirt concept to "brown shorts" for all redshirts if ya know what I mean. Anyhow if that is case the Gators have established themselves as a pretty decent running team so I am not overly concerned. There's more than one way to skin a cat.:)JK

LSU has played up or down to the level of its competition this year. i'm hoping we get to the 4th qtr with an opportunity to win.

Will we rise to the occasion? college gameday, saturday nite in Tiger Stadium, #1 vs. #4, etc., etc, etc......

sure we will....but so will fla.

how do we respond when adversity hits? when brantley barely gets one off against an all out blitz that goes for 85 yds and a td or when tebow breaks 4 tackles and goes in for the score when he wasn't supposed to play at all...

our goal line stand against moo u, the comeback against georgia are positives, but being in those situations in the first place are the biggest worry going into this game.

here's hoping win or lose that both teams play "one for the ages"

Hey typical white guy. You guys have just as good a shot at this game as us. I would say better because of 3 things:
1-revenge from our whoopin last yr
2-redshirt qb with 1st start or half recovered Tebow who wont run.
    3-Death Valley
