Did you see where according to Max Emfinger, Clarence Ward is rated the #1 strong safety in the nation and Chris Keys is rated #2? Amazing. For what it's worth, all of our 7 commitments to date are either 5-star or 4-star recruits according to Emfinger.
I am sure all of our recruits are very good because Saban offered them. However I would not put much stock into Emfinger's rankings. Every year he ranks local players much higher than national guys. The reason is because he is from here and wants to get people around here to get extra excited and buy his publications. Was probably important to do that with Curley and Dinardo around. No need to do that with Saban here.
Emfinger is a joke. If you're from Louisiana and you play high school football you are probably a 4 or 5 star recruit in Emfinger's ratings. The guy doesn't see nearly as much film as those who rank for Insiders or Rivals, so he just ranks alot of local guys.
