Common Ground!! I remember that one. But I think the bar with the 25 cent 16oz Falstaff was the Keg.
I think you’re right. The Keg, Bengal, Common Ground were great but the Southdowns was the best. Saturday nights with Bill Wray and his Showband Royal are the reason I’m partially deaf.
Southdowns, was that in a shopping center on the corner of Acadian Thruway and Perkins Rd?
Yep it was. Great place to grow up.
another place with a lot of great memories - if I could remember them. Sometimes I didn't remember them the next morning.
What was the name of the place way down Nicholson Dr going south that stayed open after 2? Amazing I never got a dwi. This was 79-84.
Jim’s place or something like that.
The Caterie was on the corner of Acadian & Perkins.Sadly burned down awhile back. So was Juban, in the far corner. Southdowns was a few blocks down Perkins on the left, in a different shopping center. So was "Peppys".(spelling?) Le Roux played there at least once.
Anyone remember the Bombay Bicycle Club from back then? Strange place, I remember it having a lot of brass decorations, lol. Hot woman though..
Damn, I know that place, but cannot remember the name. Hoping someone can.
