    EUGENE — Oregon jumped in the polls despite a narrow win over three-score underdog UCLA.

    The Ducks are No. 9 in the AP poll with 951 points, up from No. 11 and 949 points last week, and No. 11 with 876 points in the coaches poll, up from No. 13 and 849 points last week, following their 38-35 win over UCLA on Saturday.

    No. 19/18 USC (3-0) remains the only other Pac-12 team ranked following its win at Utah.

    EUGENE — Oregon middle linebacker Noah Sewell was back at practice on Monday as the No. 9 Ducks prepared to take on rival Oregon State... Sewell was carted off the field with an apparent lower right leg injury.

    “Noah looks good,” Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said Monday afternoon. “He practiced today and looks normal. Looks normal to me.”

    A true freshman and former 5-star recruit last year, Sewell quickly emerged as one of Oregon’s best defensive players this season. He has 13 tackles with three for loss including two sacks and forced a fumble during the first three games... :cool: whew, he's a superstar

    Thats good news. To get carted off the field on Saturday and be practicing on Monday and look normal is pretty rare. He’s either tough as hell or soft as hell. One or the other.
