Sure doesn't seem likely. But it is pretty crazy how quickly so many are jumping ship. The lack of fortitude in our fan base is disheartening.
Goes back to the "how do you lose". We were not prepared at all. I could take a close loss to a good veteran team with all the youth/holes we have. I don't like nor do I respect being skull drug. No place for that and youth is NOT an excuse IMO.
I hear you; I have plenty of criticism. The answer is not to cut bait at the first sign of adversity. Hell, what Eaux managed last season was pretty impressive. Things went sideways; it happens. If it continues to happen, well... not many folks will be behind Eaux and even his supporters will have major reservations.
Well thats rational and all, but the precedent was set by our AD to fire Miles mid seasons with no real plan. Its on him. Not Oeaux.
The AD is the problem. I know many praise him for hiring our bball coach, but even a blind squirrel gets a nut on occasion. Our admin is tearing us apart. If we don't makes some changes at the top, we will fade into oblivion. It will be harder to get a top tier coach with the clowns we have there now.
If Eaux turns it around and Wade is a badass, will your opinion of Alleva change? I get the impression Alleva was kinda handcuffed regarding firing Miles.
No. I never liked the way he went about it to begin with. Regardless of the outcome, he screwed that up.
Well, there is a lot going on behind the scenes. If Eaux and Wade light it up, all is forgiven on my end.
