I ass/u/med this would be easy, so I decided to watch the entire game.

I know you with the purple and gold glasses will be offended, but the problem with this team is character.

I have felt so all year. There is also a huge lack of football intellect. They don't play hard for 4 quarters and they do not play very smart. Athletes, yes, football players, not the best.

Missed tackles, poor execution, mis-run cutoffs, it is mostly MENTAL stuff that gets back to character and football smarts.

The Lee kid is finished. Hope he gets some advice to transfer.

Talk about embarrassing, I was shocked to see so many empty seats so early. I was embarrassed by the booing (what in the world is that supposed to fix), I was embarrassed watching the QB looking to the sidelines until the last second, trying to figure out the play.

I am afraid that you boys who were looking at winning the last two, better be hoping not to be embarrassed again. Miss seems to have energized and I have never seen Arkansas bring less than 100% to LSU.

Oh yeah, what is it with Lee and cocking his head back to the left every four or five seconds. A nervous twitch? Though I lack formal training in BCS coaching, I would opine that a twiching QB is not an effective QB.

You can only coach em up so much.

Crowton's track record with QBs is there for anyone to research.

A pedestrian Matt Flynn turned into a pretty damn strong QB in 2007.

I agree with this. At times Lee had all day to throw with holes everywhere in the Tech D-line, no real pressure. He would turn to the sideline and just chuck the ball OOB. He even got a grounding penalty when little pressure was there. Having seen and said that. I can just imagine the coaching staff saying, if it's not there, throw it out of bounds. The problem with Lee is he did it too early.

Still, I would not have booed Lee. But, I think this post is correct. Few if any of the fans who booed would have anything nasty to say to Lee's face. Most would probably do what Miles did...pat him on the shoulder and say "hang in there." I really believe the fans are frustrated with the coaching and cannot express it any other way.

On the note of the coaches. Take the Tech "jump pass" for instance. Creative move. LSU never gets creative. For example, having Shephard throw. Now, there's a novel idea.;)

The folks booing around me were booing the coaches, not Lee. On one 3-and-out they were booing the offensive line that couldn't stop a three-man rush with five men. Tech also had an imaginative, misdirection offense that had us confused all night. LSU did the expected other than Lee stretching the field a bit with those long incompletions.

Well, I didn't see that. But they were very flat, as teams often are after a big loss. But like Troy last year, LSU didn't lose it. In fact, scheduling an OOC after Bama is starting to look like a smart scheduling move.

I don't think people were really booing Lee alone, they were booing the play calling also because when they would call a running play everyone started cheering, I am also very happy we are 8-2 also, but there are 2 dangerous games coming up and if the offense doesn't find whats broke soon we could be 8-4 because ole miss and arkansas have been playing good ball. I have to say though coaching and play calling has been bad also, I never liked the offensive scheme LSU has been running, to easy to read between running and passing. But I will stand behind and pull for them Tigers until death!!

I don't like the booing either. But in reality, when an FBS or NFL QB has zero mobility, as Lee does, he had better be comparable to Peyton, Drew or Tom. Lee just doesn't have the tools to make it at this level.

There is a good chance that Ole Miss is simply a superior team to LSU right now. We're likely to see that play out on national TV November 21st.

If LSU gets curb stomped by Ole Miss, they'll probably lose to Arkansas too.

Whether or not they "packed it in" will be open to interpretation.

I never boo our own players, I've yelled WTF sometimes but thats it. However, 92000+ are going to do and say everything under the sun. As a player, you've just got to get used to it.
