Since democrats like to ameliorate so much, they should do something about it but there they are, just propagating the system (media, wealth, power, politics) along with the nasty republicans.
Wealth taxes, anti-monopoly legislation, campaign rules legislation, guaranteed basic income, etc. So many ways power from wealth can be checked.
