Ellis officially out vs Falcons

    as is Evans. Fujita is questionable, but its not likely he'll play. Tracy Porter is probable.

    The news on Ellis is encouraging, as his injury is not as serious as the one that kept him out several weeks last year. And the situation could work out to our advantage; replacing a roadblock-style tackle with a speed rusher in Hargrove could cause an opponent problems in the short term, though I still prefer Ellis to Hargrove for the long haul.

    We're at a good point in the season to be losing someone like Ellis.

    After Atlanta, which has been an up and down offense, the Saints face no formidable offense until 4 weeks from now (Pats).

    Get healthy for the home stretch.

    Just saw he'll be out for 4-6 weeks.

    My guess is he will be back for the Pats or Redskins game.

    Coach SP said yesterday he thought the 4-6 week estimate was exaggerated. Patriots game return may be possible.
