A player like Emanual Moody that played one year at USC. He leaves a stays out 1 yearand plays the following year. When he comes back and plays for Florida does he have 2 yrs to play or 3?

The wording you use is kinda vague but I'll just tell you that the year he sits out doesn't count against his years of eligibility- which is what I think you're asking.

You have 5 years to play 4. Doesn't matter if you transfer, redshirt, etc. An exception to the 5 years is if the NCAA grants you an extra year due to injury. See Kirsten Pittman.

    2006 - FR
    2007 - sit out
    2008 - SO
    2009 - JR
    2010 - SR

3 years remaining eligibility for Moody.
