Not sure where or how this started. The guy has had some success at QB talent evaluation but Ive never seen anything dynamic about his play calls. He's basically Dumbo without crablegs.
He ran Urban Myers offense when he was at Florida. Mullen also led Moo State to a 10-win season when Dak was there. He certainly has stints of shitty play calling, but overall his offenses are productive and well schemed. Recall people though he always had Aranda’s number when Aranda was here.
He was also with Urban at Bowling Green and Utah both of which were successful. But I don't want him here. He and Urban are both a little nuts. He might not fit well on a staff after being HC for at a big program. And he is not big on recruiting. We can do better
