huh? how so? second, aren't there times when it is good to have government intervene? like during natural disasters? are the people in NJ & NY just a bunch of slackers because they want some temporary intervention by the government to ensure their basic needs are met?
I don't see how a natural disaster is a social issue, but you two dweebs can act stupid if you want. Obviously.
Your not making any sense. You brought up a natural disaster issue which is not related to anything. You can't stop a hurricane and you can't fix them. All you can do is respond to them. IF people die, you can't fix that. You can't fix the flood waters, they fix themselves. What can the government do? Respond and HELP. I NEVER SAID THE GOVERNMENT CAN'T HELP. HELL, I didn't even say they are incapable of fixing. You are just being stupid and assuming like a jackass.
they are your own words Pride...you said, "Hand outs also relate to those people looking for government to fix things." tell us how so? how do hand out's relate to those people looking for government to fix thngs?
They relate because I CHOOSE to lump people voting for social "FIXING" and "Hand-Outs" as one in the same. It is entirely to easy to stir you up.
I didn't think that natural disasters were natural disasters either until I read your previous post because that is what you are essentially saying. You are saying that because people get stuck in a bad situation, of no fault of their own, that they are slackers for looking to the government for some temporary assistance until they can get back on their feet. This applies to people who have their lives destroyed in a storm, to people who walk into work one day and get handed a pink slip, to people who become permanently disabled and are unable to financially care for themselves any longer.
