I live in MAGA hat wearing, AR-15 toting, "Assault Life" bumper sticker showin’ county in eastern NC. Our NC legislature rep routinely introduces bills in the state legislation for NC to secede. Having said that the "buzz" down here is massively about Beasley. Interviews announcements, whatever it’s Beasley, Beasley, Beasley. Trump easily won the county with 60+% in 2020, so maybe the GOP figures they have a lock so why waste resources. But I’m surprised how much exposure Beasley has down here.
So, I'm in Charlotte and am seeing lots of the same Budd TV commercial... talking about how he's going to fight "Joe Biden's inflation." Apart from the fact that it's a lie to begin with, he doesn't actually say how he's going to do that. And for good reason: his is not a policy party except to make rich people richer. I've asked the question here now several times: WTF has the republican party done for the average American in the past 40 years?
About that tough fundraising environment for republicans: maybe if an orange traitor wouldn't be sucking up all the mom and pop donations to defend his criminality candidates like Herschel could afford some TV ads? Mitch McConnell was funny yesterday, pretty much saying "We're not likely to gain the Senate, our candidates suck". And sucky candidates need money from sucky supporters.
Mitch doesn’t want to take the Senate because he knows he is fired when they do. Fuck him! He is largely responsible for half the shit we are in now.
