Is your point that the money allocated through earmarks is already part of the budget? I know this. I think it is a major copout from a guy who says he only supports constituionally mandated spending.

This is the guy who holds a press conference to announce his office was run $90,000 under budget in one breath, and earmarks 10 million dollars to advertise wild caught Texas shrimp in the next. The sheeple that see him as anything other than the norm will buy whatever weak excuse he comes up with.

A copout? It's their duty to earmark the monies so it doesn't go back to the administration to spend on whatever the F they want.

Not to mention he has constituents that request money for projects and he asks for them from monies that were going to be spent anyway..

So why not earmark money to paydown the national debt or to replenish the SS trustfund. If you are going to be the guy screaming about waste in the system don't be a part of it or if you are going to be a huge hypocrite at least vote for the spending you are pushing through.

Well you're the first person that's wanted to do that. Be my guest, Mary.

If we could someone equally divide the country by resources, geography (port access, transportation, etc.), climate, etc. and then allowed all conservatives to occupy one area and all liberals to occupy the other, I wonder what the outcome would be after ten years.

I assume the liberal side would quickly become a third world nation with a dictator running the country.

The conservative side would shift their border patrol away from Mexico or Canada and focus on keeping the liberals from entering the country.

I protest, I have already brought up this idea of dividing the country, Let the liberals and conservatives both have what they want.
We could even give the states the option of which way to go, red or blue.
I have no problems moving to another state and having a fresh new start.
I have never backed away from a challenge!

Louis Farrakhan wants to do the same thing, only giving 10 states to blacks who would then secede.
