Do you think any of their recruits jump ship? If so, who do we have a chance at? I know that we don't have many spots left open, but I imagine that this could result in us not "settling" for a recruit when we can absorb one of their top tier commits who may now be waivering.

    Thoughts?

I am pretty sure they will get a big hire.

And the train will keep rolling along.

Joshua Shaw is the only one of their commits that really considered us, and he would've been a long-shot any way.

Nope. Don't see us getting any of their recruits. We haven't really been on any.

We recruited DE Lynden Trail and OLB Neiron Ball pretty hard early in the process but LSU would have to get these guys in for visits if they decide to look around. Don't be surprised if Solomon Patton switches to Bama but that will depend on the new hire. LSU was on him in the beginning as well and it was between Bama, UF, and LSU for the most part. Poor guy was shocked when Gonzales came to LSU but reaffirmed his commitment a few days later.

meyer is going to stay on in a non-coaching role.

What big hire would want to deal with that?
