oh i agree. i dont know who is the answer either. signing old vets especially at rb isnt the way to go. anyone, in fact, is almost better value-wise. as someone mentioned, we dont know if payton would use them if they were on the roster anyway. we could have earl campbell in his prime yet doesnt even put on his helmet on 4th and 1.
I heard on WDSU last night that the Saints are still interested in Edge. Personally I don't think that it'll happen, but this rumor won't die.
