I absolutely was disappointed with the display of pitiful sportsmanship before yesterday's game. That is definitely on O, as is the diarrhea of the mouth from some of our players in the media. If you're going to talk shit, you sure as hell better back it up--and we didn't yesterday. Also, I cannot believe someone mentioned Jon Gruden's name in this thread. The man has not coached in over a decade (and was an NFL coach, at that) and has never expressed any interest in a college job--but damn it if his name doesn't get brought up every time a coaching job opens. I think we might want to take a look at PJ Fleck, and how about putting on our big girl britches and actually go after Herman aggressively.
If O was the coach of Houston you'd be making excuses for him til the cows come home. And again, to say good coaches don't lose to bad teams is asinine. Saban has losses to UAB and ULM. Dabo just lost to Pitt at home.
Well i've spelled things out for you as clearly as I can. LSU players shit talked Florida since the announcement of the 1st game postponement, leading to many back and forths on social media prior to Saturdays kickoff. Pre-game Saturday LSU was involved in a big shit talking, shoving match with Florida assistant coaches and players (which may lead to several LSU players receiving suspensions from the SEC office). LSU then takes a giant dump on the field against a Florida back up team, and gets 7 points on 5 trips inside the red zone. From pre-game to post-game, Saturday was giant shit show, and O could not afford a showing like that. And as I said in my other post, fumbles, bad snaps, and running the wrong direction with the game on the line from the 1 are all signs of lack of discipline and preparation. Those things fall squarely on O's shoulders. Again I like O, but in my honest opinion he might be good for 8-9 W's a season, but I don't think he is the one to take LSU to a playoff contender.
You make way too much sense in this post. He won't understand you I'm afraid. His motto is "coaches are responsible for wins, players are responsible for losses".
Wrong again Einstien! First if you read my post I said good coaches MOST ALWAYS, GOT THAT EINSTIEN MOST ALWAYS beat teams like Navy and SMU never did I say they never lose to teams like that. My post is easy to find and you will be proven wrong yet again. Secondly had O lost or even won by a close margin to S Miss I would have had some questions. O destroyed S Miss. Well "another beautiful theory murdered by a brutal gang of facts"
