This is a more softball question than Obama or Hilary would get on CNN. Good coaches hardly ever lose to bad teams but good coaches do lose sometimes to other great teams (Ala) and lose to other good talented teams (Fla). So O's losses are to the # 1 team and a very talented Fla team, who won the East last year, in a game our players basically gave them vs Hermans losses to nobodies and Jimbos losses to N Carolina and getting humilated by Louisville, aaaaahhhhhh I will take O, a big time OC and keep Aranda thank you very much. Yes I think O would have won with Houstons talent. Here is a team who apparently has enough talent to beat Ok and Louisville but not Navy and SMU? Bad coaching caused those losses. Even if they were making mistakes as we did Houston should have beat both handily. Had they lost to a team like TCU or Ok St with mistakes would give Herman a pass.
Houston has AAC talent, so TCU/OK ST isn't apples to apples. Herman takes a hit with those losses, but to turn it around and destroy ACC talent with AAC talent kind of indicates there is more to the story with those losses.
Saban lost to UAB while at LSU and to ULM while at Bama. So I guess he's not a good coach then since you think good coaches don't lose to bad teams. How do you know Houston lost to SMU and Navy cause of bad coaching? How do you know it wasn't players making bonehead decisions like you said LSU players did yesterday to cost us the game? Did you watch those 2 games? I highly doubt you did.
his team has been banged up most of the year. his starting qb is playing hurt and his backup is out for the year. Houston doesn't have the depth to battle through injuries like top tier power 5 schools do. before the Louisville game he even said this was the healthiest they've been since week 2. then they went out and smoked a top 5 team.
Blah, blah and yet another blah. Navy and SMU dont have to say anything else. OK I will play your silly game I will just use the ole "swirling" lsuilike excuse for O. Hey if it works for Herman than same for O. Dosnt matter anyway Herman to Texas. We will be stuck with a burnt out Jimbo who is looking for a place to burn 5 years and retire, lucky for us. Long road to average for LSU ahead.
You are aware that these things fall under the "Discipline and Preparation" categories which fall back on coaching, and that O is responsible for the said coaching, right Mr. Football Wizard? Miles didn't get a "pass" on these issues, so why should O?
Same old shit, post after post after post. Wake me up when you come up with an original thought. I'm not holding my breath.
