I spoke to a co-worker (A&M alum) and told him this stat line and he said "I wouldn't play Fournette".
You work with Les? I'm just kidding. I do get the feeling though that because he is so quirky and marches to his own drum this will be the game the offense airs it out. Because this opponent is so terrible at the defending the run.
I would play Fournette until he gets 200 yards in the first quarter, then let him watch the rest of the game in a hot tub at the 50-yard line.
Good point, knowing the run should be there anytime we need it should be a comfort. Wait, this is Les we are talking about. I'm going under.
I think Les let's him get 250 for the record, but you will see a lot of the freshmen. He should be done before the 4th. I doubt LSU throws more than 20 passes.
No, I agree w/LaSalle. Logic and analysis say run. Therefore, CLM will look to "shore up the passing game" and play away from their weakness. If nothing, it will give his own players more of a challenge, and it will take a while for us to blow them out.
