EA's and the media discrimination against LSU

I think them picking Jared over Jamarcus last year was just bogus.

 

He did cross my mind however I wasn't sure his stats stood out like some of the other players that were chosen, like Reggie Bush or Vince Young.

 

The mascot for the Wii version was picked by fan vote, so if you're going to get upset, get upset that not enough LSU fans voted.

As for the cover athlete, the selection usually relates to whatever the tweaked game mechanic is that year as well as who the "big name" offensive guy was the previous year. I hear people throwing out Hester, but honestly how many people outside the SEC really know his name compared to McFadden?

If its any consolation, they've added the option of putting your own songs in for 1st downs, 3rd downs and touchdowns... (provided you have them saved on your system's HDD) -- so you can have all of the stadium music how its supposed to be.

 

Who's mascot is on the cover? Since being married and having two kids I haven't been able to keep in the loop of XBoxes, Wii's and PS3's etc. But I can tell you the decision is money driven rather than a personal dislike of LSU.

 

I have actually played the demo of NCAA 09. I'm not too worried about the cover of the game. But the game play itself....let's just say...
they could have done a little better..Perriloux is still our QB, which I will bench him and start Hatch. When you roll out of the pocket and look for a receiver who has a blown route the WR just stands there. Also, sometimes a WR has a ball thrown his way and it just bounces off of his helmet. There is not much advancement between last year's game. I will still buy it(sigh), but I thought EA could have done a lot better. I play online on xbox- my gamertags are.. LSUtigers27 and BayouBengal27 . Someone add me. I play Halo as well. I'm a 40 in that.

 

I think it's from Michigan State, but haven't really looked into it.

Has anyone considered myabe LSU prevents them from doing that.
