Crazy thing is that I just opened this thread and was reading it and then next thing you know Early scores...gonna leave this page up all day :thumb:
I'm happy for Doucet but not glad to see Green Bay playing so poorly. I wanted to see Warner get hit enough to be a little sore for next weekend. With this lead they can just run and not have to worry about him being sacked. The Packers seem to have the same problem the Saints have been having...a banged up secondary. Considering the number of votes that went to Manning over Brees for MVP, many voters may have also gone with another "name" and selected Woodson over Sharper. They might have made the wrong choice. I sure wish we were healthy OR play someone with more injuries than us. The last month or so has sucked with so many starters out and/or lost for the season.
Green Bay has made this a game! This is a GOOD thing for the Saints. Saintslogo Go to overtime and wear yourselves down.
Damn...Green Bay's defense looks horrible. They need a turnover bad. Doucet is excited (and should be with his performance today) but he needs to stop pumping his fists and getting cocky.
Wow!...Green Bay gets held and tackled into Warner and they call roughing the passer instead of holding. The pass goe to Fitzgerald for a TD after he ran over Woodson. No call there either. NFL refs are on par with the SEC. :nope:
It's good to see both teams' secondary looks really weak. Hopefully we can take advantage of that next weekend.
