A national Scout mod said that Nick Jacobs has a good shot at getting a 4th star.

He said he is still getting strong interest from Tenn, Bma, Michigan, Ole Miss, OU, and FSU.

Now that Sidell Corley is no longer on the team, will we have a free space to go after a top flight DL?

Not sure....I think what it means right now is guys like Davenport and Downs might get a shot to play right away....which is ok by me.....Downs blew up torwards the end of last year and Davenport is a stud when healthy.

    My projected pecking order:

    22) Lache Seastrunk - RB
    23) Trevon Reed - WR/ATH
    24) Jeff Luc or Shaun Lewis or Travis Williams - LB
    25) Travis Dickson - TE
    -----------------------------------------------------------
    26) T.J. Leifheit or Damien Robinson or O.C. Brown - OL
    27) Bryan Jones or Fre'Shad Hunter or J.R. Ferguson - DL
    28) Jonathan Ginsburgh - P
    29) James Wright or Jarrett Fobbs - WR/ATH

I like the list but I think it is very possible that we do not land any surprises at LB or OL because something has to give to get the the number down to 26 or 27.

O.C. Brown has not been contacted much by LSU lately and I think he is planning on committing to USM any day now. I think Fobbs is out as well.

Some how or some way I think we get a DT/DE. Could be a surprise or someone we move from another position. Still hoping for Byran Jones at DT and I think we have a shot at both DL you mentioned. DT Marsh out of CA has also been high on us since the beginning.

For some reason I still get the feeling we want another DB but it will have to be a good one we make a late run at.

I be happy if we can close out with Reed and Seastrunk. I notice where we have offered an scholarship to an out of state kicker, by the name of Jonathan Ginsburgh (Scout).

What happened to all the rumors about Fobbs decommitting around camp? Did Mathieu's (however you spell it) change things?

Either Mathieu changed things or the information from Scout was misinterpreted to be about Fobbs since it mentioned A&M would be in meltdown mode. A&M thought they were going to land Mathieu as well.
