That may unfortunately happen. At least I won't have to drive far to get to the game. Although, I may not want to go!!!
Isn't it strange how accustomed to winning we've become? I remember attending the '95 and '97 Independence Bowls with pride. Now, it would feel like a disgrace.
I understand your shame. You still want to see the Tigers play but you wouldn't want anybody to recognize you. I have an idea. Get a paper grocery bag, cut two holes for the eyes and.........
Oh, make no mistake. I didn't say I'd go. Actually, it's only a three-hour drive. I might go. But at one time, LSU fans were proud to go to the Independence Bowl because we hadn't been to any bowl in so long.
If you do go you probably know a few Ain'ts fans who can give you some tips about style and decorations for your TigerBag. Over the years some of them have become very good at it.
Where do you live? If you're in the S'port area, you're more than welcome to come hang at my place and watch some games on the 71" widescreen.
I'm in S'port as well. I may take you up on the offer sometime. I'm in the middle of selling my house and packing to move right now. Maybe a game later this season. Thanks for the offer.
I was in Shreveport a couple of years ago and I was driving though what looked like a pretty rough neighborhood and lo and behold, Independence Stadium was smack in the middle of a ghetto
