That may be true, but AJ has major shackles on his play calling. He had better be careful where he throws the football. Very careful. Alabama is a straight up run first team. You don't turn it over and you play field position when all else fails. The NFL has given up that concept a decade ago. AJ can air it out and most of all, has the personality to do it.
Just to be clear, Tyrann Mathieu does not play for LSU and I am fairly certain you know this. You just can't help being a gump, can you? Is he even still a student? 5th round at best
John Parker Wilson is head coach Nick Sabans best senior QB 2007-2012. JPW is not a NFL starting QB currently therefore I assume and am skeptical AJ McCarron will be as well.. The 2008 Alabama team was coach Sabans most finely tuned + generally powerful overall. The popular sentiment is the 2009 or 2011 teams were his best team. One reason I feel the 2011 team is overhyped is LSU lost 2011-12 BCSNC I feel because they choose to make an appearence out of shape, overweight & physically unfit. I read two weeks prior to the BCS game that the LSU O lineman returned from the Christmas Holidays between 30 & 50 pounds overweight. This even after coach Les Miles vehemently warned them not to be indulgent during the holiday celebrations due to the difficulty Alabama presented the team. Les spoke about this publicly though he did choose to omit the exact amount of weight gain per man or general specifics which is normally "his want.". Alabama's 2011 defense successfully held LSU pointless throughout this game. This attitude on the part of the LSU O lineman I'll never understand for it had to play a role in it the loss.
Simple, but not very scientific. Knile Davis - RB - Arky, is entering the NFL draft. With the season he just had, better blow them away at the combine.
Exactly. I'm not sure why people are seemingly disappointed that he's not leaving. He's merely a serviceable QB behind a great OL & running game. Put some pressure on the boy and he remembers who he is.
epic fail......Aj has been a good college QB, but will not translate to the NFL, Aj has been able to lean on his running game and sit behind one of the best offensive lines in the country, he has always been aske to manage the game, not go out and HAVE to win it, he is not very good under pressure, in the NFL, a QB has to be able to play on the move and under pressure, I just do not see AJ being very succesfull in those areas.
You were able to see 72 yards in a little north of 40 seconds. You saw AJ running the ball with success (including TD) when the situation called for it. You saw an ability to avoid pressure in the pocket and feel the rush. Able to check out of bad plays with ease and see's the defense better then most. That all translates to the NFL
Nah, he's still a giant pussy, which doesn't translate very well into the NFL. He's not leaving because the NFL doesn't want him.
