This would be kind of a surprise. Hell, I'd be all for this though. Lane can definitely recruit. Maybe that job at Florida Atlantic fell through or something.
If he has Nader's role, he would: That's like a Parcells' type job. VP of football operations kinda thing. He wouldn't have hiring or firing power like the Tuna does, but he'd help make sure things run smooth over the course of a season and would be active in recruiting.
