they are both real similar. they really are. always brilliant stats. but when you actually watch the game, you see that when the going gets tough, they both get running.
Everyone will talk about McNabb and Westbrook fumbling, but on that last series why did McNabb not run it on 2nd and 10 for the easy first down? Instead he "threads" it into triple coverage which was followed by a terrible sack and one of the worst play calls in modern history. True head scratcher.
Agree totally. I just blogged about the exact same thing. He: 1. fumbled 2. overthrew Westbrook on that WIDE OPEN dump off on third down on the one before last drive 3. took 2 ridiculous sacks on the last drive
He'd be about 10 TD closer if he didn't cry his way out of Philly and miss most of a season. Oh, and here's what haters (a.k.a. almost everyone) will say: "That guy is incredible at football, but my God what an a**hole."
T.O. has become really popular in Dallas, after his infamous first season suicide "attempt," that is. He hired a new PR director and turned it around. I even bought one of his "I love ME some ME" t-shirts. But just because I thought it was hilarious.
The commentators made the same point, basically said that his talent has been overshadowed by all the negative publicity surrounding him. I'm not an Owens or McNabb fan, but both played well last night. Eagles and Cowboys will be in the playoff picture. Both need to tighten up their defense. I hope Reggie Bush was watching Westbrook, if he plays consistently as good as Westbrook, just maybe he can taunt a little.
Great Point, I have always been a McNabb fan and he is playing well this season, also he is my fantasy QB. But he looks better than he has in the last few years. I admit that I have never been a T.O fan, you cant deny his talent. He is full of himself and quite the ashole when he wants to be, but I think its all a show. I think deep down, he may be a really decent guy. I give him the benefit of the doubt, but thats hard every sunday, when he cant show humility at all.
