Personally, I think the Lakers will be too dysfunctional this year to do much. If Nash passes too much to Gasol or Howard, then he's gonna have #24 upset
And this dude wanted us to call him "Superman". Yeah right buddy. There already was a Superman, and he earned his own titles with some help from a young Kobe.
I did not see details of the trade yet. How did the Nuggets end up w/AI? What did they give up? That is solid for them. DH to the Lakers w/ a bad back, and I am assuming they gave up a ton. Questionable. Certainly they are trying to win now. Nash, Kobe, DH, and Gasol. They will be formidable.
I grew up a Lakers fan with Magic, loved them with Shaq, then became a hater after Shaq left. I like Nash and thought about pulling for them a little but Howard kind of makes them more fun to pull against. Dwight will definitely make up for Nash's lack of defense and overall I'd expect them to make the finals if everyone stays healthy. If Bynum continues to improve and stays healthy, I would expect the 76ers to be a force in the East. It's been speculated that the Rockets giving Asik his big offer prevented them from being able to accept some of the big salaries that the Magic were attempting to unload. If so, the Rockets GM (Morey) may have really screwed up. I kind of like the direction they went rather than rent Howard for a year.
a real life OT sighting, is it so? All sorts of ghost coming out of the wood work these days. How ya been kid?
