You have to remember as well, a lot of those wrestlers prolly suffered from the party life and drank and used recreational drugs heavily... so it'd probably be unfair to blame the steroids in that situation... but they do make nice scape goats.
Steroids give an unfair competitive advantage over those intelligent athletes who choose not to use them. That's why they are outlawed. Take a look at East Germany's trophy case some time.
Sorry i just don't feel its anyone else's place to tell you or me what we can or cannot do to ourselves, especially when we are not infringing upon another's rights.
It's illegal. if one cannot self-manage themselves, then someone more intelligent than them will need to step in for them. When you abuse drugs (leagl or not) you could end up in a hospital, which cost the company you work for unnecessary $$.... or you have no insurance and I pay for it, because that person can't pay for insurance and will more than likely never pay his medical bills, which raises the Medical costs regardless. Sooooo that idiocracy infringes all over my rights and I am sick of footing the bill for them.....:angryfire :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
Ok i get that, but by that same token, should we ban McDonalds? Snickers? Coca Cola? Red Meat? Alcohol? Tobacco? Heavily polluted air in cities like Houston and Los Angeles?
Yup, their classified as a schedule III not because their dangerous, their scheduled so they can not be used by atheletes in sports... no other reason. If you like a good read check out the book Legal Muscle by Rick Collins. It'll shed a lot of light on the subject. As for being dangerous substances for the user... it's funny because these same "drugs" have 80 year olds living longer and better lives and reproducing once again, thanks to our Gov't pushing this so called fountain of youth on the Baby Boomer generation.
