nah... i'm like mesquite, thought the mavs would win tonight.. no freaking way the heat were gunna win the second of a 'back to back' game on the road.. houston last night, dallas tonight... last night would have been a nice win but we all know what happened there.. even if the heat had wade and the last 3 days off they would have been waxed tonight.. the mavs have been waiting.. the heat need to take advantage of the weak east and hope to make the playoffs. maybe wade will hold off on surgery until after the playoffs (if the heat make it)
once again dirk chokes in the clutch..  nice fade-away jumpers, free throw shooting and bitching late in the game and both OT's... Amare just made dirk his european boy-toy..
coulda been the best reg season game ive ever seen. think ill set the dvr for the replay. ok nash is pretty good.
Same old Mavs. In crunch time, it was time for jumpers and whining. It's Euro ball at it's finest. I watched the Rockets/Clippers game, and kept clicking over to the Mavs/Suns. After the Rockets iced the Clips off a clutch Luther Head three pointer, I thought the Mavs/Suns game was just about over. Thankfully I was wrong! What a game!
i have been so torn over this... who do you think is better NLMD? the passing, conservative 22 pts 10 assists T-Mac or the guy who takes the game over, 38 pts, 4 boards 4 assists T-Mac? It seems like some games he makes more of an effort to attack than others. I really, don't know which one is better for the team.
That really depends on how the rest of the team is playing. They're much better off with him dishing a lot if other guys can score. Even in games like that, T-Mac still needs to step up. Consider last night -- he was having an efficient night. The Rockets lost their lead, and nobody could score. So T-Mac drills a three. A minute later, he hits another 20 foot jumper and the crowd got into it. Then, down by one on the last possession of the game, he drives to the hoop and dishes to Head for a HUGE three pointer. Complete T-Mac. I know Skip to my Lou has his detractors, but I like the guy. He played a HUGE role down the stretch, especially picking the guy's pocket and going in for a layup in the last couple of minutes. I must admit though, I was a bit shocked when he hit both free throws to ice the game.
to me, the problem has never been Skip. The problem has been the way they used Skip. Now that JVG as taken off the clamps and has actually let the team play offense, Alston is having a really good season. If Bonzi shows up in beast mode for the postseason, which I suspect he will, this team will be a difficult-out.
