Vegas lines are about driving the betting, it's why they keep changing it. I would not consider it a score prediction.
If I meant to say JLee, I would've said so... To be honest, I think Mett will see more PT than Lee... unless JJ gets injured... After all JL is gone after this season, and Mett is the future... He will see the field.
you're taking this **** a little too seriously. i hope you are prepared for that straightjacket if we lose. and once again, regarding the line, its a reflection of who is betting and where the money is going. not a prediction of who the bookmakers think is going to win. heres a little example: if the bookmakers thought LSU would beat oregon by 20 they wouldnt set the line at LSU -20. they would set it where they can balance out the books, ie equal money on both sides. and thats exactly where it is.
The line is what it is because everyone has been betting Oregon to win. The country thinks Miles is a bumbling idiot.
Most respect Miles as a coach. Its just taken them as long as the fanbase. not all but most. the reason money is on the ducks is because they played AU down to the wire in the NC game. Public reaction is usually to favor the teams in the big game. same way GB is favored by 4 over NO. its because they won it all just a few months ago. Fans assume the same team returns which is a mistake. new players, new year especially in college. its a crap shoot on opening week. its almost always best to go against this public sentiment. which means take LSU and the Saints getting the points.
Our new oc just got replaced by our ol coach due to medical reasons. The smart money may be to assume that the lsu offense, which has struggled the last few years, will not be as good as expected. Krag couldn't devote 100% of himself due to personal problems. I still think lsu wins. This is why the ducks are favored. More indecision at lsu than Oregon. New first year oc steps down and is replaced a month before the season opener with the ol coach. It's a no brainer.
