The Duck Commander Bowl https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaa...onsor-independence-bowl-172625446--ncaaf.html
What's more interesting is had Phil not quit his senior season, TB probably doesn't start that year. And I think Jimmy Johnson was a defensive coach on that LA Tech team.
Quack quack. I had one of his calls back in the 80's before anyone really knew of him, for the most part. I didn't know anyone else with a Duck Commander call. I liked it cause you could blow it even if it was wet. Rain, saliva, etc. I also remember having a cassette tape that was an instructional one he'd marketed. What I remember from it was him talking about hunting wood ducks and how they'd "Tear off ya gun barrel" when they came in at dark-thirty, after shooting hours. He prefaced it with, "Now I don't know what the laws are everywhere" and cautioned to check local game laws.
I went duck hunting once with a buddy of mine in high school and never did it again. Ducks really are beautiful animals, I just never liked killing animals. Other birds like chickens or doves eh whatever, but not ducks. I don't know, I think I was always a city slicker who was born into the wrong culture, but wouldn't trade the Louisiana heritage for anything if that makes any sense.
