    FWIW, a Michigan poster stated that Campbell nearly committed to LSU at the Army game.

    No -- just that he honestly was not stringing us along. He nearly commited to us and he was not misleading anyone.

    Saving face IMO.

    The poster in question did not say LSU but almost turned down Michigan but the poster has caught flake from many of his own fan base for much of his so called credible info.

    Exactly, this is just saving face, the kid played games and enjoyed every minute of it.

    He can go to Michigan and fight for second or third place in the Big Ten for the next 4 years. While we will compete for SEC and National Championships.

    I agree. That report sounds bogus. He knew what he was doing all along.

    I tend to agree.

    However, his interview at the AA game where he said Michigan was eliminated & he would probably play at LSU - was fake & just to create drama. This Michigan guy is just trying to make Campbell not look like the poor character guy he showed himself to be.

    I agree with you.. He just was playing up his attention for the weekend..

    It look bad for LSU relative to teasing us, he knew before the weekend he was likely headed to UM..

    The rumor about him telling CD about heading to LSU, I believe was probably true, but when the rubber hit the road, momma won in the end.. long way from BR..
