Currently our DTs are: Barksdale - #6 Nevis - #9 Blackwell - #16 Lost Davis - #25 Still recruiting Cameron Heyward - #13 Currently our DEs are: Aubrey - #21 (Weakside) Still recruiting Jason Peters - #13 (Weakside) Looks like the swap out of Davis for Peters is a sweet one. Thanks for playing.
I forgot about Heyward. Isn't he visiting this weekend? What's our chances with him? Nice breakdown BTW.:yelwink2:
The loss of Davis may give is a better shot at him. Whether the departure of Davis gives us a better shot at Heyward or Peters, LSU may come out a head on that deal. Heck, maybe we'll get both.
I could see them both coming and I think Peters would take a grey shirt if that is what he has to do to play for the Tigers.
In the "predictions" thread, I had Heyward as our surprise signing. CParso didn't think that was likely at the time. Maybe CParso might hedge his bet our way now with the Davis situation. I guess he can chime in on this. Heyward has Nebraska, tOSU, Georgia and LSU all even right now. I think CParso thought Georgia might have an inside track since he is from Georgia. Reading rivals, that does make a lot of sense. Heyward already visited on the 12th, at least that what rivals has listed. He just visited Florida, and visits Georgia this coming weekend. With all the DTs we already have, we may end up with a simple swap of Davis for Peters. That's fine by me.
I like everything I have read on Peters. The quality of the person makes him that much more attractive as a potential recruit.
There's a big time DE that has come on the board late & will be taking an official visit to LSU soon, either this weekend or next. I wouldn't be completely suprised if he were a late commitment suprise this year.
Yes, it is the one and only Sidel Corley. That would be cool cuz Bama think's they have a shot at him.
Corley may be hanging out with Chevis, Jone sand JR this weekend in Mobile and visit the following week. That would be a great get for LSU.
