pigs are kinda smart, do they count? not cute enough i would guess.

this leads me back to my questions from earlier.

am i sadistic for enjoying when i saw the fighting fish throw down? (it should be noted that i had no plans to eat the fish)

i also very much enjoy wars between ants, they use complex strategy and chemicals and stuff. it always pleases me to watch them fight and kill each other. sadistic?

if a vietnamese chinaman came to america and started a dog farm, to serve the local immigrant population with delicious dogmeat, would you oppose that? what if the chinaman chuckled as he slaughtered the dogs?

tirk is enlightened, he is a bodhisattva. he has become one with the universe. he feels the pain of the fish, the ant, the dog, all the same. when he takes antibiotics, he feels the crying silent voices of the dying germs. but this is all part of the cycle.

A pig is indeed a tasty animal. I don't see them being used as combat gladiators, though.

I think pigs are cute. If only they could bark.

I am well aware of the fallacy in the logic, and agree that you are totally correct: the protection of dogs vs. other animals is due to an emotional response. Doesn't change my opinion one bit. I consider myself to be a very logical thinker, but on this issue I might as well be a neck-bobbing 300lb ghetto queen wagging around her silver-nailed finger.

Comparing fish which are not domesticated but rather are in a simulated "natural" environment where they would normally fight each other to domestic dogs bred, housed and staged to fight each other are completely different. I would ask you for a better example, but you can't come up with one because it doesn't exist. As to whether or not you enjoy the suffering of animals...look to your own soul.

Also another naturally occurring event in the battle for supremacy as nature allows. These species make these decisions. Again, it has no bearing upon staged dog fighting.

A man's perverse joy at the suffering of animals is not the only issue. People with flexible morals always make the best killers. You suggest a situation similar to cows & chickens where dogs serve as a food source. This situation does exist in the world, but not in the world of staged dog fighting, so again your point is irrelevant.

I hope they lock his punk-azz up. But somehow, I think because he's rich and famous, he'll avoid any serious punishment.

Boddie sounds like he believe his cuz might turn on him:

Boddie said he hasn't talked with Vick since the investigation launched. They went to Ferguson and Warwick high schools and played football together.

"That hurts the most. We was real close. He's the type of dude I would do anything for, put my life on the line. I'm just asking him to fight with me. I'm asking him to stand by me, let me stand by him and we can fight this together."

A real dog fight, eh ?
