Drug probe leads to Vick property, discovery of ailing dogs

i'm sure vick wouldn't mind being locked up with paris hilton.

 

Seems appropriate to lock him up with a dog for a few days. Just don't show me the video ... not into bestiality.:hihi:

to be honest, i dont see the big deal with dog fighting. it seems mean i guess, and i wouldnt do it, but i dunno about locking people up over it.

i had a friend who would let his fish fight, should he be arrested? how smart does the animal have to be before you cant let it fight?

 

The thing that bothers me about it is that if allowed, a dog will be loyal 100% of the time. Many of these fighting dogs are even loyal to their owner despite the absoulutely foul treatment they recieve. These dogs must groomed to fight like this, which can include extreme starvation and the feeding of gunpowder along with food to help induce the crazed attitude it takes to fight until the death. Fights aren't just quick and easy either; they can last up to 4 hours. Any of you at home have a dog? Imagine it whelping and crying in agony for hours and you betting and profiting of it's misery. The footage was the first I've ever seen of dog fighting and it was enough for the rest of my life. The dog doesn't choose this.

 

Our jails are full of people who commit victimless crimes. This crime actually has a victim. The correct thing to do is to change laws so that crimes with actual victims result in jail time and all the petty pot smokers can go home. Then overcrowding wouldn't be an issue. But our government doesn't rely on logic so things will remain to be ineffective and expensive.

 

So would you lock up someone who beats the crap out of someone else? Please tell me you value human life more than animals.

I'm not saying dogfighting is ok, but locking them up is extreme.
