Apparently Vick was an absentee landlord.

    Ouch. The irony.

Dog fighting is about as low as you can go, in my book. Only a despicable human being would partake in such an activity, and I wish the worst upon those who have.

To steal a quote from Red: Bingo, Amigo.

I can look the other way with all sorts of crimes if I like watching the athlete, but not this one. I know Vick hasn't been directly implicated, but my presumption is that he knew what was going on there.

It is a little disconcerning that the Humane Society of the United States has heard of reports that Vick has been involved in dog fighting. However, you can't take any disciplinary action based on "reports." I disagree with PETA that he should be suspended pending an investigation. Let's see what information turns up, then Blank can determine what action is appropriate. But if he is involved in the dog fighting, he should be dismissed from the team and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Ditto. There's no place on this earth for dog fighting.

Roger Goodell would disagree with you on this. This is NOT the right time for NFL players to step out of line on anything.
