good for the goose, then it's good for the gander, i know that is what i would have said if Bushy was Prez.
This is about the fourth Al Qaeda #3 man that we have killed. They seem to able to find replacements easily enough. I'm not even sure if killing bin-Ladin or al-Zawahri will be a beheading of Al Qaeda anymore, they have become less of a single faction and more of a bunch of loosely related jihadists. But it is still important and will go along way towards eliminating each individual cell as they are found. Our best hope is for Al Qaeda to lose the backing of the Pakistan Taliban and the Yemen jihadists. Those are about the last two places in the world where they can find protection and shelter. Drones are operating over both countries, which is a sign we have the backing of the governments there. They don't want the jihadists to get control either. If the friendly rags in Pakistan and Yemen can induce the enemy rags to give up Al Qaeda in return for the drones going away, we might be finally able to eliminate OBL and AAZ.
That's a lie. I credited Bush with his response to 9/11, the quick and clever takedown of the Taliban by using CIA with local warlords, and for creating the biggest Marine Wildlife Sanctuary in US history. I did so right here, go look it up. I rightly criticized Bush for his own colossal failures . . . that you still defend, sadly. :dis: It is you that cannot credit Obama for anything . . . including stepping up the air strikes in Pakistan.
Everybody credited Bush for the 9/11 response, but once he had to make hard decisions about defending against terrorism and potential threats to Americans everybody decided to become big pussies. And chill MM. We'll let your boy have his 15 minutes of kudos. God knows it's rare.
