I'm all for Drew Brees winning the MVP too, but let's not forget about:

    TD INT YDS RTG
    Brees 27 9 3117 112.6
    Favre 24 3 2874 112.1
    Manning 24 11 3415 102.5

The amazing thing is there is only one loss among these 3 QB's...

You are right on the money, it cust both ways. I have never seen a woman get so upset over a loss. After a loss to the Falcons or Panthers it's particularly tough times at my house for a few days.

    Remember this debacle:

That initiated a 3 week dry spell. The only thing good about football season ending is that things are more "consistent" in the bedroom. However with this season culminating in a Saints Superbowl win, It's going to be a good off season. ;)

i have been watching football for many a year, and i must say i have never seen anything like the Saints. Drew Brees may very well be the most accurate quarterback i have ever seen play the game, especially with passes over 20 yards. And if Drew misses, 90% of the time its the receiver not picking up on where Drew put the ball. The long pass to Meacham, 17 didn't know the ball was coming his way, and never saw the ball, had he, that would have been another big gainer. Right now Mickey Loomis is looking like a freaking genius, with the moves he has made.

I agree with the original post, unless there is some major meltdown, Drew Brees is the MVP of the NFL for 2009.

    Drew Brees is the man!!

And it's nice to finally have a coaching staff who knows what they're doing in N.O.

Brees was 22 of 37 on passes over 20 yards in the air coming into the game. All other QBs were under 50 percent and most were way under 50 percent.

I gotta believe he was about 4-6 last night or somewhere there abouts, so that would put him at 26-43 (over 60 percent).

    Unreal.

Not to hijack the thread or anything but with Brees possible getting the MVP and he rightfully should. And Sharper leading for Def. POY imo, has a team ever had both in one season?Saintslogo

I would think someone should have.

Maybe the 95/96/97 Packers with Favre and Reggie White?

I'm a little surprised that noone has mentioned Devry Henderson. He had a helluva game. Makes me proud of the LSU grads.
