And this is some type of watershed moment for you? That many thought we would have 2 losses at this point has been posted at least a million times already. Did reading one post predicting the two losses make a light bulb come on for you somewhere? As my earlier post stated, most are not complaining about the 2 losses but about the fact that LSU probably should have won both games.
There is no established precedent for you to be confident about LSU's projected performance in the upcoming road games. Now, you might simply be a glass-half-full type of person, which I am not.
Look if we don't play well Bama has the talent to beat us. I guess we're all more concerned about how we have played on the road this year and that is why Tenn and Arky are on most peoples' radar. The crowd will be into the game like no other game this season when Bama comes to town, you can bank on that.
I agree, and you make a good point- it is our play on the road that's in question, we usually (Tenn. '05) play well and finish strong at home. I still recognize our team's ability and expect them to play to it. We've had our share of disappointments for the year, it would seem like our luck would change and we play to our potential.
You are one hard-headed Mo Fo. I get it, OK? Your conclusion is that I am an idiot. Unlike you, I don't have to have it drummed into me in order to understand. :dis:
Unless something changes this team will lose 2 more. Just how I see it. I don't like it but that's how I see it.
EXACTLY! :thumb: thanks for saying that Twisted, dead on the money. with the talent we have those games could have gone either way IF WE Brought our "A" game! :dis: folks if I sound like a broken record with this "A" game stuff ........well let's just say if Alley is up to par, and JR plays like he has in the cupcake games and like I KNOW he is capable of, we'll win the two tough remaining road games and close out the year positively. but if we dont.... You're gonna hear allot more of why we didn't bring our A game. We DO have the potential to win out. Geaux Tigers! :geauxtige
Draw your own conclusions... okay, here's mine: Although your forum is better than ours in many ways, they both have the same two common elements, the wall.... and an ample supply of turd thowers. Each day the throwers show up and sling "thought turds" at the wall, hoping their's will stick. Some stick, most don't. Periodically, someone will visit the wall to see how many of the really old turds are still stuck there. My guess is someone went looking and found this one.
Not disagreeing...but...It's a special team that can carry their A game into a top 5 team's house. It can be done, but when you go on the road against 4 or 5 ranked teams, odds are that you won't come out unscathed. If we win out, this team will have proven they're as good as I think they are.
And I think a key point that many naysayers are missing is this: unlike the past (90's, in particular), we have the ability to win every game we play. We can line up against anyone in the country and have a good chance of winning. There are few teams that can say that. I'm disappointed that we lost the two games we did, but I don't think our program is going down the tubes. I believe that the Tennessee, Alabama, and Arkansas games are going to be very telling for our team--and I look forward to the challenge.
