It helps on the pass rush, for sure. We're going to need an Lavalais/Dorsey-type inside run-plugger against some power running teams and I have great hope for Brockers to fill that role.

It will help against the spread, but I'm not sure how it will handle a power running game like Bama's.

Yes, I do. The numbers thus far have reflected that fact. We're getting tackles for loss, getting sacks, and we're stopping the run. I like it.

Nevis is a monster, but I really like Montgomery, Brockers, and Mingo.
Montgomery is my favorite, that guy never takes a play off.

It's because we don't have just one great Dlineman that all these guys are getting into the backfield. Who do you double team? Whoever you don't, is getting through.

I'll say one thing, if Florida can't figure out their center to QB exchange, they are in trouble. Nevis will rip Brantley's arm off and eat it like a chicken wing.

personally, I like the D-line at the size we're at. Against the power running teams like Bama those big slow OLinemen won't be able to get a hand on somebody and with the LB's we have I really don't see a problem, I mean its like somebody posted earlier ... who will they double team, Vandy had a double team on Nevis most of the night and he was still VERY disruptive .... Defense win championships people and if our offense can consistently score in the 30 point range, we will be difficult to deal with. Just my $.02...
