Then I'm glad I erased what I first wrote where I called you every vile curse word I could think of and instead just asked you. Lol.
These days there is no sense in taking a running back in the first round even much less the top 10 unless it's an Adrian Peterson. A year ago I would have said Fournette is that guy but injuries and being shut down in big games has left me wondering. Ezekial Elliot landed in the right spot. You and I could rush for 1000 yards behind that offensive line. He ends up somewhere with no line and he is Mark Ingram.
His injury bug is the only thing holding him back. Much like Adrian Peterson. Pretty big risk. Detillier has guice as a top 12 pick already. That was before he really went off so maybe he's right.
As much as I would like a defensive player to upgrade our putrid d, I would love him to the saints... Haven't had a consistent back since deuce... Unfortunately, Loomis is making the pick so I have no faith... We're more likely to trade the pick for a guy who won't work out but we'll have to pay him anyway...
It's unfortunate Fournette couldn't win the Heisman but who was the last good NFL RB that won the Heisman? Did Elliot win it? If he did, who before him. Ingram is the best of the Bama backs and I think he is solid at best but not really a difference maker. It seems like Heisman winning backs generally suck it up in the NFL. With that said I would be insanely happy if the Saints somehow landed LF. But we all know the Saints do not draft LSU players for some reason.
