I guess he is trying to make up for the ridiculous spiked crew cut that big brother Casey had at Tenn. (Looks like he got it cut before the game though.)

I wonder if Jimmy still has the half-Tenn, half-LSU jersey he wore to the SECCG.

all i can say it big f'n deal, ND won a game against a nobody who prob didnt desrve to be there as well , but someone had to be in the hawaii bowl , right?

xmas i guess came on the 24th this year--- if they played a ball state, it would be a different story.

nd always loses against ranked teams and they truly suck, they had what 67 yards total rushing offense and passed agsint an obviously inferior pass defense.

you shoudl see how south bend is stating that this is them turning the corner--

and how about the freaking announcers andre ware and the other no name guy--- touting how this is the best sophomore class int eh country? WTF? if ND had a male genital , these guys would be all over it--- its embarassing how these people think that this game was like their national championship or something-- GMAFB!

    skippy---

and i do think we can beat GA tech screw that triple option crap

Whether you're willing to put your hate aside or not, I'm here ot tell you the Irish does have a plethora of young, talented players.

If they all progress, they can easily win 9-10 next year with a soft schedule.

No worries, they'll fall off the face of the earth again next year.

The ND-haters will be glad to know that ND still has the NCAA record for most consecutive bowl losses with 9. I imagine that is a record that ND will hold for a long time. The ND-haters will also be happy to know that it has been 15 years since ND has gotten a bowl win. That's a long freaking time.

    From NBCsports:

Notre Dame ends its NCAA-record bowl skid...first bowl win in 15 years
    ...
[The ND victory ended] their NCAA-record bowl losing steak at nine.
    ...
Notre Dame’s victory was its first in the postseason since it beat Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl to end the 1993 season.

I was just thinking about that, remembering when he was a kid watching his brothers in 2001. Time flies!

well they better--- AND they should've done that this season.

playing inferior teams all eyar doesnt do a thing for your team when you play a hard team at the end of the season--- why do you think they lost all those bowl games-- they pad their cupcake season and then all of a sudden, they seem surprised when they have to play a top 10 ranked team at the end of the year-- result-- L-L-L-L-L shall i go on, or wanyone else can finish
