Bama's game will not be a road game like this is, but I agree. whether you like or hate ND, you have to like Tenuta. What he's done for ND's defense is like night and day from last year. It's actually the strength of their team after being a disgrace last year.
I knew that but I didn't think that would lead to a blow out! I still thought Hawaii at home was a little better than that!
Despite being a proud Notre Dame fan, I expected Hawaii to win this game. Hard to bet against a team playing a home game for a bowl. Add to it the fact that ND has looked bad at time this year (Syracuse? Are you serious?), I figure the Warriors would be up for the challenge. Nobody saw the blowout coming. On another note, with Mike Haywood getting the Miami of Ohio job, that makes four LSU assistants from the 2002 season who have taken the top job or have been designated as "coach in waiting": Dooley at La Tech, Fisher at FSU, Muschamp at Texas & Haywood. (Have I missed someone?) When Saban came, he seriously upgraded the assistants, and for the most part Miles has continued that trend. GEAUX TIGERS
