Here's the last 6 potential signees and our respective chances and probable announcement day: The Big 3 Jones - LSU vs UF & FSU - 80/10/10 - NSD Toliver - LSU vs UF - 60/40 - NSD McKnight -LSU vs USC - 60/40 - NSD The pretty damn good 3 Francois - LSU vs FSU - 65/35 - Monday or Tuesday Scott - LSU vs Texas - 30/70 - Sunday Corley - LSU vs Bama - 50/50 - Monday I think we get Jones, Toliver, Francois, and McKnight and 1 of the remaining 2 (Scott, Corley) for a total of 28 recruits. Bajoie (grades), Wilson (grades) and Breaux (injury) would not count towards 2007 class, for a total of 25 scholarships. Anybody else with predictions?
Well I think there will be severe disappointment on the part of Tiger fans if we don't get McKnight. He is seriously a Reggie Bush type WR/RB/PR/KR all world player that you get your hands on once in a blue moon. The last time we had a player with such impact was #3 back in the late 90s. Just add a touch more speed to that formula, and you have Joe McKnight.
i hear out biggest chance is with CJ...problem is, does he even see the football field at Tiger Stadium???
Yes, we can't know that until June, unfortunately. But at least we will be the ones waiting with bated breath to see what he decides.
Im pretty confident we get the Big Three, as well as Francois. Im not too sure though about Scott or Corley. Hopefully the meeting with Scott tomorrow goes real well and he commits. If I had my guest I think Scott picks Texas because of its proximity. Had Texas not involved itself in the recruitment of Scott I think we would get him for sure. I think Corley is more of a need position though, so Id rather have him. Im not sure on Corley, no ones really saying much as to his thinking.
Corley to announce Monday morning. He just so happens to make his last campus visit this weekend at LSU. Hold on to your hats.
I hope Phelon is in his ear....Corley may not be the best on the board; however, IMO, he is probably our biggest need right now.
He is coming here out of respect but he might leave campus a Tiger. I know our visit will give him something to think about. I have tons of confidence in Earl Lane, great job with or without him.:thumb: :geauxtige
